Hello. I have been a “blogger” since 2002, but not consistent or disciplined. I recently have been more dedicated to this task. As I discover and read more blogs, I am so inspired, and wonder if one day I might be able to encourage other moms going through some of the challenges I am now.

I am 31 years old, have three boys, 8,6, and 4, and two girls, one 3 and one 14 mos. My husband and I have been married for ten years!!! My husband owns and operates a business transporting special needs students to school, as well as a few special needs adults. We have had the business for 8 years.

We are dedicated to homeschooling. I have considered myself to be a homeschooler somewhere half-way between school at home and unschooling, but lately I think I’m half-way between half-way and unschooling.

We love to entertain. We live in a small community in Atlantic Canada, on a beautiful river. My husband moved here from Toronto with his family in the early ’80s, and when he first saw this river, being a water lover, he said one day he would live here. So here we are. We  bought this house in July ‘06. Previous to that we rented a few houses in “town” for a couple of years.

Our second son was diagnosed with Classic Autism in March ‘04. He has received considerable therapy and we are pleased to report doing quite well. And contrary to some people’s opinion, he’s doing quite well being at home with us.

We are pretty sure adoption is in our future.
