I’m finally back on my blog….temporarily.  We are expecting a new-to-us computer shortly, but I’m at my aunt’s house right now, and this is the first time since December since I’ve been able to get online properly to post.  Greg has a BlackBerry, but it is extremely tedious and frustrating to type on, so I haven’t attempted to post from that. 

We have been blessed to have some time alone – child-free – for a couple of days, and part of that has been getting to spend some long-awaited time with my Mom.  It’s been wonderful and difficult all at once.  However, it is necessary to move forward and so here we go.

Life is busy, and overwhelming by times.  I’ve been having to work a lot, and that has been a huge challenge.  Things have happened in regards to our business that aren’t good.  Our accountant has been dishonest in his work with us, and we now know that we have been struggling financially because of him.  We don’t yet know what is going to happen, legally speaking, but we are just taking it day by day.

We had a flood in our basement and that has been a bit of a nightmare getting the insurance-recommended contractor to actually finish the job.  Yesterday we finally got a call, with an apology for the experience, and the promise of a cheque in the mail so we can finish it ourselves.  This happened in February and I jokingly said to someone, I sure hope this doesn’t take six months to complete.  It’s nearly six months now.  Note to self: don’t joke about stuff like that!

So briefly, I will be re-entering orbit in Blogville soon, and am very much looking forward to it.  I have missed my blog a LOT.
