Thanks for the comments, ladies. I’m ok. Just had a conversation with someone earlier this week that reminded me how much on “display” I often feel. I guess more than anything, I’d like to know if everyone else has as much interference, unsolicited “advice”, and just plain crappy circumstances constantly bombarding them. Or am I just extra special???

Oh honey, when I ran around town with my 3 older ones (when they were little) I’d get a ton of well-meaning but busybodies (and even people I knew) telling me exactly how I should parent / teach / live / run my house.
Although a couple tiems when I had Kendra & Danny with me and people asked if they were all mine I said “YES!” and Kendra called me mom.
People still ask me my age. Because I’m too young looking to have a son in college! One of these days I swear I’m gonna say I had him at 13.

make sure you mention that your son is MARRIED!!! That’ll get ‘em! I guess because I wouldn’t dream of butting in (mostly because from experience I know that I don’t see even half of the whole picture, so how I can then give “advice” or whatever), it catches me off guard when others do. Anyway, I’m much better today. Had me a day of fixing up my garden, and it looks great, and I feel wonderful. Who knew dirt could fix your perspective???

Insert old anecdote here about the lady who asked me how on earth would my kids ever get jobs with no diploma, and I had to tell her S & A weren’t with us because they were, you know, WORKING. At their jobs. :eyeroll:
Gettign out in the dirt *always* helps. unless it’s winter.
