I’ve been having fun playing around with my blog. I added a Song Spot - this is a special song to me. I walked down the aisle to my soon-to-be husband to this song. It makes me feel beautiful and special all over again when I hear it.
I also changed the image at the top. I REALLY like Word Press. With Blogger I felt very confined, and not able to customize. I’m not sure if I just wasn’t looking in the right places or what, but Word Press is laid out easy, so I can find what I want, and make changes whenever. This makes me feel like blogging more.
I want to add a blog list. I do read several blogs. Some homeschoolers, some large families, some older ladies. It’s fun to go through each day and see what they are all doing. It’s such a habit now. I signed up to BlogLines, but I found that they would show I had posts to read that I had already read, so I ended up scanning through each of the blogs anyway. Updated: I did add a blog list. I have/do read others, but these are the most regular posters that I read every day.
Luke did really well yesterday with Darin, the speech therapist (hereafter known as the SLP). I was excited AND disgusted when I learned in our initial meeting that Extra Mural offers SLP services to homeschoolers. I was led to believe that there would be NO free help if I didn’t send Luke to public school. But there is! Anyway, Luke was excited to see Darin, and they have a great rapport together. This will be so helpful in Luke’s education with us at home.
Our Durango has had the 4wd repaired, now that winter is nearly done. But it’s good to have it nonetheless. We use it to tow a lot.
I need to update on the situation with Dad. But I think that may get deep emotional, so it will be another post.
