I really don’t enjoy….

…typing an entry twice! I was sitting here typing a post, it was going along fine, then someone upstairs called for me. I tilted my head upward to hear and be heard better, and when I did, my hand grazed the mouse button. What happened next I’m not sure. I only I had to shut down and restart the whole computer. Because I tapped the mouse button!!! GRRR!

Anyway, in brief, I’ve started school with C again, and am waiting to hear back from an SLP for L. Also Dist.14 wants to meet with me (here they say), and I’m assuming they want to make sure I’m doing school right. After discussion with several other homeschoolers, I’ve decided I will give them one meeting if they absolutely have to have it, at their office, and not much more. One lady that also has had interference with Social Services, said she took such a huge basket of things with her that they are pretty much leaving her alone now.

C turns 7 on Wed. So hard for me to believe my first baby is growing up so quickly. I’ve heard so many people say how quickly it goes by, but I’m starting to grasp the reality of that.

Dh has had a couple of snow days lately, so it’s been nice to have extra time with him home. He takes the kids on the snowmobile, and they love it. They’re calling for more snow this week. And very cold temps. I think we already have more snow this year than we did all last year. So it took a bit to get going, but now it’s definitely here. Uh, where did the global warming go?

Have a great day!

SEVEN??? How did he get that old that fast? :D

Good luck with then meeting - also go armed with educator-eze: educational terms that sound good and really mean simple things. (I can’t find an example at the moment)

I liked the lady who brought in a huge pile of stuff. Overwhelm them, they don’t like extra work. :)

Well, I actually left a message yesterday with the lady - thank you Lord it was the answering machine!!! - and told her unless she had a good reason for me to come in, that I’ve been advised it’s unneccessary. Let’s see where this takes us!
